INDYCAR: Hinchcliffe, Sato hammer barriers at Phoenix
Schmidt Peterson Motorsports' James Hinchcliffe (ABOVE) and A.J. Foyt Racing's Takuma Sato (BELOW) both endured hard crashes in Turn Two in the first IndyCar practice session at Phoenix. The Honda-powered drivers –led by Sato who was on a low-drag qualifying simulation – spun mid-corner and hit with the left-rear corners of their respective cars. "I feel OK," the Japanese driver said. "It was a quite a big impact and (I have) a little bit of a headache, but I'm good. It was a quick spin. I lost it simply with a little bit of oversteer.
