IMSA: Servia interested in sportscar switch
Veteran Indy car driver Oriol Servia wants to extend his career by focusing on sportscars. The Catalonian isn't done with open-wheel racing, and has kept busy with select IndyCar and FIA Formula E races over the last 12 month, but says it's time to shift gears and find a home in IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. "I've been preparing for this for many years; I've raced at the Daytona 24 Hours and really liked it, and it's the right time. It's almost a necessity," Servia told RACER. The Los Angeles-based driver was energized by his return to IndyCar racing for the season finale at Sonoma, where he stood in for the late Justin Wilson in the No. 25 Andretti Autosport entry....
