Unlike the previous two days, 'Fast Friday' went without incident. INDIANAPOLIS - About 40 minutes into Fast Friday, Scott Dixon threw down a 230.643mph lap, the fastest of the month. That stood as the best time until the final thirty minutes of the six hour practice when Team Penske asserted their domiance. Simon Pagenaud topped Dixon with a 230.698mph lap late in the day, who responded, but still fell .007 thousandths short of the 39.012 second lap.
