DIxon Paces Opening Day of Practice on Indy's Road Course
Scott Dixon broke up a Penske party in Friday practice to lead the way heading into Saturday at the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis. Penske put all four cars in the top six, but Dixon bested everyone with a lap of 1:10.691 in the second session. "It's always a lot of fun when you're at Indianapolis, road course or oval. I think this track is a lot different from the other ones because you trim out (shed downforce) so much," said Dixon. "It can be frustrating at times trying to piece a lap together, but I think when you do, it's rewarding. I think all of us have been off track testing the limits."
