IndyCar extends Dallara chassis contact through to 2020
The IndyCar series has announced a multi-year contract extension with chassis manufacturer Dallara through to the 2020 season. The Italian company started working with IndyCar in 1997 and confirmed a new deal at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Dallara will continue to supply IndyCar with driver safety cells through to the 2020 season, with the up-coming campaign marking its 20-year anniversary in US-based single-seater racing. “Dallara's continued participation in our sport provides IndyCar and our competitors a tremendous amount of confidence,” said IndyCar president of competition and operations, Jay Frye. “Dallara has been an instrumental...
