Newgarden storms to victory at Barber

Josef Newgarden made his third race for Team Penske a winner, as he bested Chip Ganassi Racing's Scott Dixon and Penske teammate Simon Pagenaud to take victory in the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama. The win – the first for Chevrolet after two Honda-powered wins to start the Verizon IndyCar Series season – came at the expense of teammate Will Power, who dominated most of the race before being forced to pit from the lead for a punctured tire in the closing stages.
