Here's what we know for sure: Sonoma Raceway is one of the most picturesque road courses in North America. Its vp of media and communications, Diana Brennan, and her people do a great job of promoting the IndyCar race. The mid-September weather in Napa Valley is spectacular. There isn't a bad seat in the house and last Sunday's turnout looked to be the best ever since IndyCar started coming back in 2005. Sponsors love the view, weather, vineyards and dining in San Francisco. The paddock is packed with diehard IndyCar fans that get it. And Sonoma should always be on the Verizon IndyCar Series schedule. It just shouldn't be the season finale. That was never more evident than last Sunday...
