Chip Ganassi Racing expands to three car entry with Marcus Ericsson
Chip Ganassi Racing has announced that Marcus Ericsson will join the squad for the 2020 season, expanding the team to a three-car entry. Ericsson joined the NTT IndyCar Series for the 2019 campaign after losing his Formula 1 race seat at Alfa Romeo, linking-up with the now named McLaren SP Racing team alongside James Hinchcliffe. The Swede had a solid rookie campaign with his best result coming at the second race of the ‘Dual In Detroit’, where he picked up a second-place finish on the Belle Isle circuit.
