Ed Jones is keen to prove his worth at ECR in 2019

Ed Carpenter Racing's Ed Jones is keen to prove himself at his new team after being let go by Chip Ganassi Racing at the end of 2018. The British-Emirati driver was released by CGR in favour of the highly-rated Felix Rosenqvist after a season of mixed results. His best results of the season came in the form of two third-place finishes in Long Beach and the second race of the 'Dual in Detroit. Jones' move to Ed Carpenter Racing is his third team in three years in IndyCar and will see him fill in the seat vacated by Jordan King in the #20 car.
