12:00 ET: First car out for practice is Townsend Bell, who promptly posts a 221.1 to lead the group of eight cars. 12:05 ET: IndyCar has added a few new columns to its timing and scoring screens. It now includes the 'no tow' report, which filters out tow laps to show the best unaided speeds of each driver. The criteria for a no tow laps configured to where there must be at least a seven-second gap between cars on any T&S loop. If a car is within seven seconds of another car, the lap is not recorded in the no tow column. 12:07 ET: Sage Karam goes fastest with a tow to set a 223.787. 12:08 ET: Karam is faster again 224.837. 12:10 ET: Chevy held a formal presentation for its superspeedway...
