IMS to offer 'Tiny House Hotel' during Indy 500

The largest single-day sporting event in the world is downsizing. In conjunction with Indiana-based company Try It Tiny, Indianapolis Motor Speedway will offer a pop-up "Tiny House Hotel" during this May's Indy 500 as part of its glamping experiences. Fifteen tiny houses will include a compact kitchen with high-end finishes, a modern bathroom with a shower and flushing toilet, air conditioning and sleeping quarters in a variety of layouts. The hotel package, which will include four general admission tickets to Carb Day, Legends Day and race day, on-site parking, a concierge service and more will cost $3,000.
