Andretti adding variety to racing resume

Marco Andretti won't race in the Chili Bowl any time soon, if ever, but he entertains the thought now. That wasn't always the case. Thirteen years into his career at North American open wheel's highest level, the two-time IndyCar series race-winner now believes that variety can make him a better competitor. So he dabbled heavily this offseason. "I tested a three-quarter midget, did a bunch of go kart races, some endurance go-kart races," Andretti, 30, said on Wednesday during preseason testing at Sebring International Raceway.
