After testing a LED car position system during Spring Training in March on the KV Racing Chevy piloted by Stefano Coletti, the Verizon IndyCar Series is set to introduce the lights as a permanent addition to the Chevy- and Honda-powered Dallara DW12 chassis. The LED panels, which will be mounted on both sides of the car to indicate the position each car is presently holding during a session or race, were received by the series last week.
