Bourdais goes last to first at St. Pete

Bourdais surged from the back of the grid to open the 2017 IndyCar season with victory for Dale Coyne Racing around the streets of St. Petersburg on Sunday.The Frenchman started at the rear of the 21-car field after crashing out of qualifying, but a fortuitous strategy call from team owner Dale Coyne gave Bourdais a shot at the lead, and he never looked back.The key call came shortly before a caution fractured the field between all who had pitted and the seven frontrunners who hadn't.
