Claman DeMelo switches to Carlin Indy Lights team

Zachary Claman DeMelo will switch to reigning Indy Lights champion team Carlin Racing in 2017 after spending his rookie season with Juncos Racing. The 18-year-old Canadian finished ninth in last year’s championship, with a best result of fourth at Road America. Prior to Lights Claman DeMelo, karting star, raced in the Formula Renault 2.0, NEC and ALPS Championships in 2015 season. He also won for Carlin in the F3 Cup.  Last month he also raced in the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, sharing the DAC Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan with Emmanuel Anassis and Anthony Massari.  Claman DeMelo said, “I am proud to announce my seat with Carlin for the 2017 Indy Lights Series.
