Pigot retains road, street deal with ECR
– Spencer Pigot has retained his road/street track deal with Ed Carpenter Racing for 2017.Pigot, who won the feeder Indy Lights championship in 2015, made his first IndyCar outings with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing early last year, before switching to Ed Carpenter mid-season.As part of the agreement, 23-year-old Pigot will contest the 11 road and street course events over the course of the 2017 campaign, with ECR team boss Ed Carpenter taking part in the oval races."I'm very excited to be staying with Ed Carpenter Racing for the 2017 season," Pigot said."It's a great feeling to know that I have a secure ride for all of the road- and street-course races."I...
