INDYCAR: Kanaan starts fast in Iowa practice

Tony Kanaan and Helio Castroneves led the way during Saturday morning's practice period for Sunday's Iowa Corn 300. Kanaan, the 2010 winner whose led 523 laps at Iowa Speedway in his career, turned a lap of 17.219 seconds (186.902mph) in the NTT Dallara-Chevrolet during a 90-minute session prior to Saturday afternoon's qualifying. Castroneves, winless since 2014, was close behind his Brazilian buddy at 17.241 (186.664mph) in the Team Penske Chevy.
