More rain forces IndyCar to move up start time
– Inclement weather has forced the Verizon IndyCar Series to move up the start time for the inaugural Indy Grand Prix of New Orleans at NOLA Motorsports Park. The race will now start at 13:45 local time (GMT -5), which is roughly an hour earlier than originally planned.Heavy rainstorms and lightning forced the cancellation of qualifying yesterday (meaning the field will line up by existing points) and also the warmup this morning.Juan Pablo Montoya will start on pole for the 75-lap race alongside team-mate and defending series champion Will Power since they finished 1–2 in St. Petersburg a fortnight ago.
