– J.R. Hildebrand will make a return to Ed Carpenter Racing at this year's Indianapolis 500, as well as the preceding road course event at the circuit.Hildebrand came close to winning the prestigious race on his debut in 2011 but crashed at the final corner and finished second to Dan Wheldon.Hildebrand, who has not raced full-time in the championship since 2012, placed eighth in last year's Indianapolis 500 for the outfit and will line-up alongside team owner Carpenter and Josef Newgarden this May."After the experience I've had over the last two years with this team, I know that we're going to be bringing a race-winning effort ourselves," said Hildebrand.
