INDYCAR: Power leads Penske 1-4 qualifying sweep
Despite a serious crash in Friday practice that seriously damaged his Verizon Dallara-Chevrolet, Will Power was consistently the fastest in Saturday qualifying for Sunday's Firestone Grand Prix at St. Petersburg, taking the pole with a lap of 1 minute, 0.2450 seconds. Second was Simon Pagenaud, third was Helio Castroneves, fourth was Juan Pablo Montoya, fifth was Scott Dixon and sixth was Ryan Hunter-Reay. The top four were all Penske drivers, all powered by Chevrolets. Not much changed between the final qualifying and the Fast 6 session.
