INDYCAR: Engineering change for Kimball

Chip Ganassi Racing has repositioned race engineers between its IndyCar and IMSA programs. Brad Goldberg, who engineered Charlie Kimball's No. 83 Chevy through the 2015 season, and helped the Californian earn a win at Mid-Ohio in 2013, will engineer Ganassi's No. 67 Ford GT in the WeatherTech SportsCar championship.In his place, Eric Cowdin, who engineered Ganassi's No. 8 Indy car last year, will serve as Kimball's engineer. According to Chip Ganassi Racing managing director Mike Hull, Goldberg's return to the team's sports car operation was a perfect fit."We're really fortunate we have opportunities inside the building for engineers to have new opportunities," Hull told RACER....
