Buemi stripped of Long Beach pole, Abt inherits top spot
Sebastien Buemi has lost his pole position in today’s Long Beach Formula E race, after it was found he exceeded the 200kW power limit in qualifying. E.dams driver Buemi lost his fastest time from the session, as he made the transgression during his quickest lap. His previous best time, which is allowed to stand, puts him back in 10th on the grid. Buemi said: “Obviously I’m really disappointed to lose the pole position, but 10th is better than 20th.
