Tony Kanaan ends Carb Day practice on top
A.J Foyt's Tony Kanaan ended Carb Day practice top of the speed charts on the final day of track running before Sunday's 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500. In a session without the sight of a single yellow flag, Kanaan took his #14 ABC Supply-Chevrolet to the top of the speed charts with a 225.517mph best lap. The Brazilian veteran will start his 18th Indy 500 from 16th place and he believes he can run with confidence in the race after spending the session fine-tuning the car to work in traffic. “I was really working on my car, the level of downforce and grip that I wanted to have starting 16th,” Kanaan told IndyCar.com. “So, really, we worked in traffic...
