SPM confirms multi-year Hinchcliffe deal
– Schmidt Peterson Motorsports has confirmed that James Hinchcliffe has signed a multi-year extension to partner debutant Robert Wickens in IndyCar.Wickens' move from DTM to IndyCar was revealed by Mercedes on Wednesday morning, and SPM has now confirmed the news, with Hinchcliffe staying on to race alongside his compatriot.Hinchcliffe, following spells with Newman/Haas and Andretti, switched to SPM for 2015, and finished 13th in this year's championship, having triumphed at Long Beach."Not only am I really excited to be able to say I'll be back with SPM for next year and beyond, but I am also really looking forward to being team-mates with one of my oldest friends," he...
