Portland replaces The Glen on IndyCar roster

– IndyCar's calendar for the 2018 campaign has been announced, with 17 races retained, but Portland International Raceway replacing Watkins Glen.Portland, which hosted IndyCar races under CART and Champ Car sanction from 1984-2007, will run over Labor Day weekend, the same slot previously held by Watkins Glen.Aside from this change, 16 of the 17 events from 2017's roster will return in 2018, most falling on the same spot "to further capitalise on their date equity".St. Petersburg will again host IndyCar's season-opener on March 11, while Sonoma will keep its season-finale slot on September 16.2018 IndyCar calendar:March 11 - St. Petersburg (street)April 7 - Phoenix Raceway...
