Power wins wild, chaotic Texas 600

– Will Power quietly led a chaotic and bizarre 248-lap ordeal at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday evening, claiming his 31st career victory in the RainGuard Water Sealers 600.  The race ended with just six cars on the lead lap—which is about how many total cars were left running at the end after countless crashes, a red flag and the instigation of mandatory competition cautions to counter severe tyre wear late in the race.Power led 180 laps after inheriting the lead because of a penalty on his team-mate, consistently running a low line to fend off a seemingly endless series of challenges from a bevy of cars.Following a re-surfacing of Texas' 1.5 mile oval, teams expected the...
