Coyne fuming after Jones snubbed as top rookie

Dale Coyne doesn't get mad too often but he was fuming after learning that Fernando Alonso was awarded Rookie of the Year over Ed Jones. Jones started 11th, dropped back to last after losing a rear wing and charged back to finish third in Coyne's Boy Scouts of America Honda. Alonso started fifth, led 27 laps but dropped out with a blown engine and finished 24th. "Who in the hell votes for these things?" said Coyne, who was not at the victory banquet on Monday night in Indianapolis but got the news from his public relations rep Karina Redmond. "I listened to all the Indianapolis radio and television stations and they all said Ed will get it and he deserved to get it....
