Hildebrand sustains hand injury in crash

– J. R. Hildebrand is to undergo a medical evaluation this week after he sustained a broken bone in his left hand during a last-lap collision at the Grand Prix of Long Beach.Hildebrand attempted a move on Mikhail Aleshin on the approach to Turn 1 but the pair made contact, with Hildebrand pitched over the left-rear of his rival.The violent movement of the steering wheel caused the injury to Hildebrand's hand, before he came to a safe halt in the run-off at Turn 1. "I was on reds [tyres] and had a little bit for at least the handful of cars in front of us," he said."On the last lap, I was making a move on Aleshin and I could tell he was struggling."I was out of...
