INDY 500: Howard confirmed for Tony Stewart-SPM

Jay Howard has been confirmed as the driver of the No. 77 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Honda sponsored by the Tony Stewart Foundation. As RACER revealed in February, the Briton will join SPM regulars James Hinchcliffe and Mikhail Aleshin for the 101st Indy 500 as the team seeks its first win at the Speedway. The 2011 Indy 500 starter will represent Stewart's Team One Cure initiative, which seeks to raise awareness and donations for cancer research.   Related Stories Related Stories IndyCar Marotti seeks 500 return with God Bless America Racing PODCAST: The week in IndyCar news, March 3 Derani tests with SPM in day to 'remember forever' DTM's Wickens takes turn in Hinchcliffe ride swap...
