7-Eleven returns as Kanaan associate sponsor

One of Tony Kanaan's most identifiable sponsors is making a return to IndyCar. Chip Ganassi Racing announced that 7-Eleven, Inc. will come on board as an associate sponsor at select races on Kanaan's No. 10 Honda. The familiar livery will return at the season opener at St. Petersburg, Long Beach, Indianapolis and Texas. 7-Eleven first became Kanaan's primary partner in 2003 and continued until 2010. In their eight-season partnership, Kanaan won the 2004 Verizon IndyCar Series championship, picked up 14 of his 17 wins, earned 10 poles and led 2,668 laps.
