INDYCAR: Newgarden runs first Penske laps

Josef Newgarden made his first appearance in Penske colors during a Firestone tire test at Gateway on Thursday. The 25-year-old confirmed his long-expected move to Team Penske last week, where he will replace Juan Pablo Montoya in the No.2 entry, although he carried Helio Castroneves' No.3 – and Simon Pagenaud's firesuit – for the Gateway outing.
