INDYCAR: 'I think it was a fair fight' - Pagenaud
Simon Pagenaud admits that he felt "relief" when he realized that Penske teammate and title rival Will Power had developed a mechanical problem that effectively secured the Frenchman's first IndyCar title at Sonoma on Sunday. With a substantial points buffer and a comfortable race lead, Pagenaud was already in an extremely strong position before Power slowed from second place with a gearbox problem on lap 35, but he said that the Australian's misfortune freed him up for the rest of the race.
