Dixon advises Power and Pagenaud to “go for it” at Sonoma
Outgoing IndyCar champion Scott Dixon has said 2016 title contenders Simon Pagenaud and Will Power should treat this weekend’s IndyCar finale “like any other race,” but admitted that will be difficult. Chip Ganassi Racing’s four-time IndyCar title winner, who is currently third in the points table and could finish in the top three for the 10th straight season, said that he expects 2014 champion Power to have a pace advantage around Sonoma Raceway, but pointed out that Pagenaud has been “rock solid” in a variety of circumstances in 2016.
