PFC becomes exclusive brake supplier to IndyCar from 2017
Performance Friction Corporation has been named as IndyCar's exclusive brake supplier from the 2017 season, replacing Brembo. Following a successful test earlier this year, PFC and INDYCAR signed a multi-year agreement starting next season, expanding on the supplier's current commitments in the Mazda Road to Indy support series. 'Earlier this season the majority of our teams tested the PFC brake package and the feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive,' INDYCAR president of competition and operations Jay Frye said.
