INDYCAR: Series to help cover Boston refunds

IndyCar will contribute more than $900,000 toward helping refund fans who purchased tickets for the ill-fated Boston Grand Prix. The company that was formed to manage and promote the race filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy earlier this week. Bankruptcy documents showed that almost $1.7m had been spent on tickets for the race, which was cancelled in April. Boston GP had signed a four-year deal to run the event, with the inaugural race scheduled for this year's Labor Day weekend.
