Chip Ganassi will be inducted into the Motorsport Hall of Fame of America later this year in recognition of his services to motorsport. Ganassi enjoyed a short racing career before turning his hand to team management, setting up Chip Ganassi Racing in 1989. More than a quarter of a century later, CGR has tasted enormous success in IndyCar, racking up over 100 wins and 11 championships including Scott Dixon's title victory in 2015.
