Ganassi to be inducted into Motorsport Hall of Fame of America

Chip Ganassi will be inducted into the Motorsport Hall of Fame of America later this year in recognition of his services to motorsport. Ganassi enjoyed a short racing career before turning his hand to team management, setting up Chip Ganassi Racing in 1989. More than a quarter of a century later, CGR has tasted enormous success in IndyCar, racking up over 100 wins and 11 championships including Scott Dixon's title victory in 2015. Ganassi also has interests in NASCAR, sportscar racing and rallycross, and is one of the most influential figures in American motorsport.
