Marcus Ericsson is relishing the challenge of oval racing in 2019 IndyCar switch
Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver Marcus Ericsson says he is relishing taking on the challenge of oval racing when he switches to IndyCar in 2019. Ericsson has raced in Formula 1 since 2014 and previously rose through the junior single-seater ladder, competing in Formula BMW, Japanese F3 and GP2 – F2’s predecessor – before joining motorsport’s top echelon.
