IndyCar confirm 17-round 2019 calendar including CoTA
IndyCar has confirmed a 17-round calendar for the 2019 season which will see the of Circuit Of The Americas join the schedule for the very first time. The Texas circuit predominantly used for Formula 1, MotoGP and WEC events will join the IndyCar schedule after months of negotiations, the event will be run on March 24 around the full road course layout, two weeks after the traditional season-opener in St.Petersberg on March 10. Laguna Seca has also been confirmed to re-join the calendar for the first time since 2004 and will replace Sonoma as the event which will host the final race of the season.
