First in-season F1 test kicks off at Barcelona

Formula 1 returned to action on Tuesday morning, just two days after the Spanish Grand Prix, as testing kicked off at Barcelona. The two-day test is the first of two in-season tests that will take place this year. The second will be hosted at the Red Bull Ring after the Austrian Grand Prix in June. Only half the teams will be running their regular racing drivers today, with Spanish GP winner Nico Rosberg carrying out the work for Mercedes. Ferrari will run Italian Rafaelle Marciello, who will switch to the cockpit of the Sauber for the second day of running. Esteban Gutierrez will get his first Ferrari test on Wednesday.
