Haas-backed Ferrucci to make IndyCar debut in Detroit
Dale Coyne Racing has confirmed American driver Santino Ferrucci will make his IndyCar debut at the Detroit Grand Prix in the No.19 Paysafe entry. After the terrible injuries suffered by Pietro Fittipaldi while competing in WEC at the recent 6 Hours of Spa, Dale Coyne has been forced to make changes within his driver line-up. Zachary Claman DeMelo is currently filling in for the Brazilian at the Indianapolis 500. Ferrucci was signed up as a development driver for Haas Formula 1 team in 2016 and has completed over 1000 miles in testing coverage during his short tenure with the team so far.
