Detroit IndyCar: Hunter-Reay wins Race 2 after Rossi error

Ryan Hunter-Reay scored his first IndyCar victory in almost three years, after a final stint charge onto the tail of Andretti Autosport teammate Alexander Rossi who then skidded down an escape road and fell to 13th. There was a bizarre incident on the parade lap when Mark Reuss executive VP of global product development at General Motors, lost control of the Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car exiting Turn 2, and shunted into the left-side wall. Within minutes, his Wikipedia page had been hacked, his job title including the addition “and a professional pace car crasher.” The field was halted, then the cars were refired by the AMR Safety Team, and sent back to the pit road and the teams were...
