Audi admits Formula 1 entry is an option

Audi has dropped the firmest hint yet that Formula 1 is on its radar, as rumours of a potential tie-up with Red Bull intensify. After Red Bull said at the Spanish Grand Prix that its future in F1 could rest on a partnership with Audi, the German car manufacturer has now come out and suggested that there could be substance to its entry. In an interview with British publication Auto Express that was published on Monday, Audi's chairman Rupert Stadler made it clear that F1 is far from being a closed door.
