JR Hildebrand confirmed at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing for 2018 Indianapolis 500
Dreyer & Reinbold Racing have confirmed their second entry for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 27. JR Hildebrand will join Sage Karam at DRR, bringing the 2018 field to 34 cars and therefore the return of 'Bump Day' as IndyCar specifies a maximum grid of 33 cars. Hildebrand hasn't raced in IndyCar in 2018 after he was dropped by Ed Carpenter Racing last year. The Indy 500 will mark his return to DRR where he began his IndyCar career, having contested two rounds with the team in 2010.
