Rene Binder adds Detroit to IndyCar programme
IndyCar newcomer Rene Binder has added June’s Detroit double-header to his 2018 race programme. GP2/F2 veteran Binder linked up with Juncos for four street/road course events this year and classified 22nd on his debut at St. Petersburg. Binder has now been confirmed to drive the No. 32 entry for the back-to-back races around the streets of Belle Isle. “After looking back at my first race weekend in the IndyCar Series, there were a lot of positives to take away,” said Binder. “I was able to challenge myself as a driver in a new series and car.
