Poor weather forces IndyCar to postpone Indy 500 testing
IndyCar has been forced to postpone the upcoming Indianapolis 500 test originally scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday due to 'expected inclement weather'. Manufacturer testing, open testing and the Indianapolis 500 rookie orientation program and refresher testing on the oval will now take place a month later than scheduled, beginning April 30. Low temperatures and the strong probability of rain are forecast for next week – conditions which are far from ideal for oval testing.
