Weather postpones IMS oval test to April
Expected inclement weather has forced the postponement of next week's Indy 500 testing to April 30-May 2 on the 2.5-mile oval at IMS. Manufacturer testing, IndyCar open testing and the 500 rookie orientation program and refresher testing on the oval initially were scheduled for Tuesday, March 27 through Thursday, March 29 on the IMS oval. High temperatures in the low 50s and a strong probability of rain are forecasted for next Tuesday through Thursday in Indianapolis.
