Power breaks record en route to Indy pole
– Will Power earned his 38th career pole position for Saturday's Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, breaking a track record in the process. Lapping the Indianapolis Motor Speedway's 14-turn road course in 1:09.6716 in the first round of qualifying, Power couldn't replicate that speed in the Firestone Fast Six, but he didn't need to.His Q3 lap time was over two-tenths clear of Scott Dixon—the only driver who prevented another Penske 1–2–3–4.
