Karam gets St. Petersburg outing with Ganassi
– Sage Karam will enter the opening round of the IndyCar season at St. Petersburg with Chip Ganassi Racing, as the team works on a full-time ride for the youngster.2013 IndyLights champion Karam, 19, made his IndyCar debut at last year's Indianapolis 500, where he placed ninth for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing.Karam signed a multi-year deal with Ganassi as a Development Driver at the start of 2014 and competed in the Daytona 500 for the squad earlier this year."It's such an honour to get the opportunity to race in IndyCar, especially in a CGRT [Ganassi] car," said Karam, who will race the #8 car previously occupied by Ryan Briscoe."The 2014 season was a great learning...
