IndyCar: Bourdais leads opening Indy GP practice
Sebastian Bourdais led the BowTie Brigade and turned the fastest lap of Thursday's opening practice period for Saturday's Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis. The four-time Champ Car king clocked a lap of 1:10.937 in the Team Mistic/E Cigs Dallara-Chevrolet – the only driver to get under the 1:11.00 mark on the 2.6-mile road course inside IMS as Chevrolet dominated the two-hour session. That was just a fraction faster than Will Power's best of 1:11.035 in the Verizon Dallara-Chevrolet and Scott Dixon's 1:11.045 in the Target Dallara-Chevrolet.
