Spencer Pigot suffered a hard crash just past 4:30 p.m. ET on Friday in his No. 11 Juncos Racing Chevy. The 2015 Indy Lights champion was quickly evaluated and cleared to drive. Footage of Pigot's nose-first crash into the Turn 2 did not immediately reveal the origins of the accident, but based on the odd angle of the car and impact high in the corner, it looked different than a normal spin that sends a car into the wall farther around the turn.
